Welcome to the Central Bull Test and Select Heifer Sale. In this sale you will find some of the finest Highland cattle available in North America. Whether you are just establishing your fold, or looking to improve on your genetics, this sale will have something for you.

The bulls in this catalog are the top calves from leading breeders around the country. Only the top 70% of these bulls will make the sale. Complete performance results will be available sale day, including ultrasound data, semen and scrotal evaluation, plus the 140 day test results. These bulls are halter broken and ready to work for you!

The heifers in this sale are some of the leading young females in the Highland breed. There are 10 open, ready to be bred two-year-olds and 4 yearlings. The yearlings are all sired by performance tested bulls. Many of these heifers are directly from the consignors show strings and all are top quality.

The cattle will be available for inspection on Friday evening and on Saturday morning. The Sale will be held in conjunction with the NEHCA annual meeting

Birth Weight: The actual birth weight of the animal if provided.

205 Day Weight: Weaning weight adjusted to 205 days and for the age of dam. If the animal was not weighed at weaning, “NA” is listed.

Projected 365 Day Weight: Projected yearling weight based on the 112 day weight. The actual yearling weight will be calculated based on the final test weight.

Start Weight: The initial test weight taken on 12/8/03

112 Day Weight: Fourth test weight taken on 3/29/04

ADG: The Average Daily Gain on the test ((112 day wt.- start weight)/ 112)
