Welcome to the 6^th Central Bull Test and Select Heifer Sale. Once again there is a tremendous offering of cattle - herd sire prospects, show heifer prospects, brood cow prospects. The Bull Test has proven to be the best place to buy High quality Highland bulls, many have gone on to be show champions, three have been named National Champion and the progeny have been outstanding. The record setting, top selling bull in Denver this year was sired by a Bull Test Graduate. The females in the select heifer sale have also proven to be the best. They have gone on to be named Champion at MAHA, NEHCA, and Denver If you are looking for the highest quality Highlands – this is the place to be!

The bulls in this catalog are the top calves from leading breeders around the country. Complete performance results will be available sale day, including ultrasound data, semen and scrotal evaluation, plus the 140-day test results. These bulls are halter broken and ready to work for you!

KEY TO DATA

Birth Weight: The actual birth weight of the animal if provided.

205 Day Weight: Weaning weight adjusted to 205 days and for the age of dam. If the animal was not weighed at weaning, “NA” is listed.

Projected 365 Day Weight: Projected yearling weight based on the 112 day weight. The actual yearling weight will be calculated based on the final test weight.

Start Weight: The initial test weight taken on 11/30/07

112 Day Weight: Fourth test weight taken on 3/21/08

ADG: The Average Daily Gain on the test ((112 day wt.- start weight)/ 112)

WPDA: Weight per day of age.112 day weight divided by the days of age.

Exit #15 off I80. North on US Rt 19, 2 miles to Mercer. Follow Rt 19 through Mercer, bearing right at the Y at the top of the hill, then bear left at the Y at the bottom of the hill. Continue on Rt 19 for 1.5 miles. The 4H Park is on the left just past the giant steer at the Mercer Livestock Auction.
