The Deerfield Fair in Deerfield, New Hampshire will be offering an Highland-only class. The fair, in its 133rd year, is October 1-4, 2009, with livestock due on the grounds Wednesday, September 30th.

This is a great agricultural fair with cattle/horse/swine/sheep/poultry/waterfowl shows, horse/tractor/pony/oxen pulls, greased pig contests, lots of exhibits, permanent buildings to house the animals and exhibits, plentiful parking lots, good food and traditional greasy fair fare on beautiful spacious grounds.

NEHCA's Spring Meeting will be held at Toplands Farm, 102 Painter Hill Road, Roxbury, Connecticut. Our hosts will be Pat and Rob Lowe. The meeting will begin at 11 AM. There will be a lunch. And in the afternoon there be cattle judging. There will also be a tour of the antique tractors. There is a extensive collection of over 150 farm and garden tractors.

The board of directors will meet at 9 AM.

The spring meeting will be held in conjunction with MAHA's 2008 Spring Classic and the Central Bull Test and Sale (Click here to view Sale Catalog) in Mercer, PA. Click here for more details ( location, hotel etc.) When you make reservations make sure you mention you are with MAHA.

Our Spring Meeting will be held in a meeting room at the Comfort Inn at 5 PM on Friday May 9th. There will be coffee, soda, cookies, cheese and crackers available at 4:30.

2005 NEHCA Fall Gathering and Show Once again this event will be held at the Eastern States Exposition, Mallary Arena, West Springfield, MA.

July 15–17, 2005

NEHCA junior annual campout. At Ridgeville Farm in central New York. Ridgeville Farm is located about 5 minutes from exit 34 on the New York Thruway. We will gather on Friday night, on Saturday a trip to Sylvan Beach for amusement park and swimming. Hang out Sat. night for a bonfire, and a leisurely departure on Sunday. Food will be provided. Juniors will need a tent or camper of some sort. Parents are always invited to come along. Please RSVP by email or phone so we can have some kind of numbers for food.
